Robin’s Vines, LLC, is seeking a paid seasonal harvest winemaking intern who will split time between Buttonwood Grove Winery (mostly) and Six Eighty Cellars(occasionally). This is a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of grape varieties, vessels, and techniques.
The internship will start mid-August and run through mid-November and pay $16-$18/hr depending on experience.
Experience is nice, but not a requirement. An interest in the process of making wine, a strong work ethic, and an ability to learn are the most important qualifications. Forklift, lab, and tractor experience are also a plus.
Long days on your feet are required as is some heavy lifting. We will often start early in the morning and often work into the night, but we’re also reasonably flexible depending on the workload.
Duties may include:
-Grape sampling
-Cleaning
-Basic lab testing
-Grape receiving and pressing
-Filing, emptying, and cleaning barrels
-Racking juice and finished wine
-Tank cleaning
-Additions to wine and juice (yeast, sulfur, etc.)
-Cleaning

-Sorting grapes
-Possibility of some vineyard work
-Cleaning
-Bottling
-And lots of other stuff depending on the day.
