We are searching for a Tasting Room associate willing to take on additional responsibilities. Possibilities include social media marketing, wine club management, or event coordination. The anticipated start date is August 1.
Bet the Farm Winery is located midway between Ithaca and Trumansburg, New York in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. Ours is a small production winery led by a woman winemaker with 20 years of experience. We grow five different varieties of red vinifera grapes and source our whites from area vineyards. Our Jacob Thomas Vineyard is certified as a New York Sustainable Vineyard. The winemaking approach is minimal intervention, guiding high quality fruit through fermentation, aging, and bottling to produce fine, balanced wines.

Bet the Farm Winery, a woman-owned family business, is seeking a candidate for a 32-hour per week, year-round position starting mid-July. We currently have 6 acres of producing red vinifera vines and produce approximately 2000 cases annually.
This person will be involved in all aspects of the growing season in the vineyard: shoot positioning, suckering, mowing, leaf pulling, cluster thinning, crop estimates, and grape sampling as we approach harvest.
At harvest, this team member will roll nets, distribute lug boxes, prepare the crush pad, assist in hauling in fruit, crush pad operation, pressing and fermentation activities.
Cellar work will include yeast inoculation, racking, filtration, bottling and sanitation procedures.
Anyone interested in pursuing a career in the wine industry, or students who are currently in a related degree program are encouraged to apply.
