Enomet Dhea 50 Press – Needs to go before harvest

We have one press remaining we need to move before harvest this year.

1x Enomet Dhea 50, Axial membrane press – 2018 construction, serviced post 2023 harvest, and working wonderfully. The membrane is in all but perfect condition.

We have carefully and thoroughly restored and serviced it to top shape. You’ll see the actual press pictured, which we prefer stripped of all the additional panels and fairings for easier access, but we have all of the panels and hardware to restore to factory setup as pictured in the last image (side panels & end fairings)

Enomet presses are sold by Vintner’s Vault in the US — parts and support are available through Vintner’s Vault locally or directly from Enomet in Italy. You can visit their site for complete feature set, but I will elaborate on some of the finer points.

Overall the press produces excellent yields at lower pressures than expected, with fast good overall press times. We have effectively used it as a maceration vessel and it seals completely hermitically. Particularly useful if you like doing a bit of a soak overnight, or like loading the press before heading home and pressing in the AM.

The press is located in Dundee, NY – we can load the press onto your truck and will happily store it at no additional cost (indoors, climate controlled) until you take delivery at your convenience. Asking $23K OBO but particularly amendable to striking a deal before the 2024 harvest.

– 50hL capacity with a central axial membrane: the 3/8” thick rubber membrane is in excellent condition and is more durable than thinner membranes especially against some errant MOG in machine picking. Membrane has been throughly inspected and maintained as per the manufacturer’s direction.

– Axial loading valve: fitted with a brand new gasket as well as a new coupling seal (we will include various additional of these O Rings). Large 6” ball valve with tri-clamp finish as well as a 6” to 3” TC adapter. There is an inert gas injection point here as well.

– Grease hoses replaced as needed for all greasing points.

– Rebuilt rotation motor.

– Pneumatic hoses & fittings replaced and checked. The door functions pneumatically as does the door sealing gasket. While the press has an integrated blower for vacuum and low-pressure filling, and a Becker compressor for the bladder, it requires a small air compressor to operate the door and gasket. There is a built in filter and air/oil separator for this air inlet.

– Reversible drain pan with an integrated must pump controller and must pump outlet for onboard power. We’ve just replaced the pump outlet, and it can be used to automatically cycle the pump on/off during pressing. Additionally, the must pump can be operated from the control panel. The electrical connection supports 15A @ 230V.

– Integrated washing pump and nozzles: work remarkably well to clean the drum – particularly if you have high water pressure/volume, or more practically a wash down pump to cycle through water/solution.

– Drain channel mounting threads have been chased and cleaned for easy removal and installation.

– Comprehensive pre-programmed recipes and custom recipes are easy to program.

– The press is tall enough to fit a 1/2T macro bin underneath for emptying the pressings – in our experience we usually fill about 3 with a full load. Slide the bin under, rotate to empty, and repeat.
