Cellar Manager – Buttonwood Grove

Buttonwood Grove Winery is a family owned and operated winery on Cayuga Lake. We work with many different varieties – both vinifera and hybrids – across three different vineyards on the west side of Cayuga. 

In this role, responsibilities and requirements include:

• harvest crush activities (sorting, pressing, crushing), racking, blending, filtrations, topping barrels, lab work, bottling, and a whole lot of cleaning
• Partner with cross functional teams where necessary in regard to events, wholesale needs, marketing needs, etc.
• Perform tasks and cellar work at Six Eighty Cellars as needed
• Record completed tasks in Innovint Software
• Have forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified.
• Constantly contribute ideas not just for winemaking, but also for safety and efficiency of all operations
• Represent the winery both virtually and in-person to the trade/media/marketing events in a professional manner
• Be able and willing to lift 40 lbs and work long hours during harvest
