2023 Vinifera Reds – Niagara Escarpment, NY Sustainable

2023 Vinifera reds just taken from barrels:  Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are available.   These wines are aged in newer French and some American oak barrels and puncheons.   All were grown in our estate vineyards and all are eligible for the sustainability labeling.  The Niagara Escarpment has sandy loam and clay soils over a limestone base with streaks of gravel.  Because we are between Lakes Erie and Ontario, we have more sunshine than any other region of NY and are the second warmest region in the state.
