Warehouse Production and Customer Fulfillment Associate

Wine and Beer Supply is the industry leader in the alcoholic beverage supply sector. We provide a large variety of input ingredients, materials, equipment and services to wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries all over the country. We have recently opened our third location in Penn Yan, NY, and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team! A customer-first mindset, willingness to learn and strong communication skills are all a must. A love for the local beverage industry is highly recommended!

Responsibilities:
– Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products in the warehouse
– Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments
– Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers – Deliver orders to customers on-time and safely
– Assemble and fabricate products according to specifications
– Operate power tools and hand tools to complete tasks – Routine vehicle inspections to ensure good working order
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
– Assist with inventory control and cycle counting
– Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred – Previous experience in the beverage industry preferred – Ability to safely drive a box truck and sprinter van (CDL and ability to drive standard transmission preferred but not required)
– Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Computer skills for inventory management purposes
– Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
