2024 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Niagara Escarpment AVA, ESTATE GROWN, from our Certified NY Sustainable vineyards. ENTAV certified clones 191, 337, 169 and 412. The Niagara Escarpment AVA has limestone-based soils, is NY’s second warmest growing region and produces full bodied wines. We farm without the use of herbicides and do not use Mancozeb or Captan. Our vineyard in Niagara is Certified Sustainable and wines are eligible for the certified sustainable labeling.
As of September 11, It looks like we will be harvesting at 24-26 brix easily this year and typical pH is 3.3-3.4 at harvest. Grapes are currently at:
Block 1 19.2 brix, 2.83 pH
Block 2: 20.3 Brix, 2.86 pH
